Twomey issues update on recent stakes winners After making the breakthrough at Group 1 level when La Petite Coco landed Sunday's Alwasmiyah Pretty Polly Stakes, Golden trainer Paddy Twomey enjoyed more black type success on Tuesday evening when Beamish maintained his unbeaten record in the Listed Lenabane Stakes at Roscommon. Twomey said afterwards of the Teofilo colt who is now three from three: "We seem to be stacking them up for the Cesarewitch, we are all very keen on the Cesarewitch all of a sudden - 600 grand is a big pot and I wouldn't rule it out." The Friends of the Curragh Irish Cesarewitch, with a hugely-boosted total prize fund of 600,000 Euros, takes place on Sunday September 25th and will be the feature race on the second day of a new two-day Autumn Festival which also features the Goffs Million. On Pretty Polly winner La Petite Coco and third past the post Rosscarbery, Twomey added: "The two fillies came out of that race in great form. They came home and licked the pot and were perfect the day after. "La Petite Coco is entered in the Yorkshire Oaks and it is something that we would take into consideration. "She is entered in the Irish Champion Stakes, I'd love to win a race like that. The Arc is a realistic target I think for her. To do that the other day over a trip a couple of furlongs short of her optimum, on her seasonal bow, was indicative of her class. Regarding Rosscarbery, who was disqualified and placed last after an issue with the weighing out procedure resulted in jockey Wayne Lordan weighing in light: "I asked the owner to spend 30,000 Euros on Tuesday and the only way I was going to get 30,000 back was to be third, so she didn't surprise me. Robert Moran the owner supported my decision 100 per cent to supplement her and I was delighted with the way she ran. "It was a great feeling looking at the two of them coming up the straight pretty much in front. "There's nothing further at the minute (on the filly's disqualification), we will see how it plays out." Additional reporting by Michael Graham
