Unsettled forecast for next few days

The going looks set to be testing this weekend with widespread rain forecast today, and the weather is due to remain unsettled over the following few days.

Navan hosts a National Hunt card tomorrow featuring the Grade 2 Webster Cup Chase, and ground is currently described as soft, yielding in places (holding ground).

There was 2mm of rain overnight.

There is further jumping action at Limerick on Sunday where the Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase also has Grade 2 status.

The going at the Greenmount Park venue is currently soft to heavy after overnight rain.

Flat enthusiasts are catered for at the Curragh on Sunday where the action will take place on the Plate course and the centre of the straight course.

The Grade 3 Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes is the feature, and the ground is soft at present with up to 20mm of rain possible over the next 48 hours.
