US Army Ranger back on track Derby runner-up US Army Ranger is close to a return to action, with the Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh under consideration. The Galileo colt has not been sighted since he got to within a length and a half of Harzand at Epsom, but pleased his trainer in a canter after racing at Leopardstown on Thursday night. He could now drop back down in class and in trip for the Group Three Royal Whip on August 21. O'Brien said: "US Army Ranger is getting ready to come back. "We've been very happy with him. He had a break and is just back in. "We could look at the Curragh with him - maybe the Royal Whip." Star filly Found is also in contention for the same race after she, too, engaged in a light breeze at Leopardstown. The four-year-old daughter of Galileo is a dual Grade One scorer but has finished second on her last three starts, most recently in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. The Ballydoyle handler said: "Found just did a canter. "We're very happy with her and we'll have a look at something like the Royal Whip or maybe the fillies' race at the Curragh (Snow Fairy Stakes, August 28)."
