Vautour could return at Ascot Vautour could make his seasonal reappearance in the Amlin 1965 Chase at Ascot next month. The six-year-old was a stunning winner of the JLT Novices' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March and currently heads the ante-post lists for the King George VI Chase at Kempton in December and the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March. Owner Rich Ricci, whose horses are predominantly in Ireland with Willie Mullins, is keen to have more runners in Britain this season and sees the Ascot Grade Two as an ideal starting point for his hugely exciting chaser. He said: " Vautour is great and we will look at going to the Amlin Chase at Ascot on November 21st as I like to have my horses running over here and I try do that if I can. "He would then certainly be one for the King George. "We are very lucky by the quality of horses we have."
