Vincent Finegan Scoops Naps' Prize

Vincent Finegan, of the irish-racing.com website has won the 2006 William Hill Irish Field Naps Competition. The Dubliner ended up winning the competition by a record margin, tipping up a fantastic 19 winners during the 52 week competition and ended the season with a level stakes profit of ?32.69. Finegan finished a massive ?19.06 clear of the chasing pack.

The Racing Post's Brian Fleming, building on a recent 20-1 winner, finished with a flourish to take second and the News of the World's, Tom Dowling was third.
