Wachman weighing up options for Lily David Wachman is considering the next plan of attack with Fire Lily following another admirable effort in defeat in the Moyglare Stud Stakes. The daughter of Dansili has run with credit on each of six racecourse starts to date, winning twice and running well in races like the Queen Mary, the Lowther and most recently the Moyglare, where she finished second to exciting filly Maybe. Fire Lily is likely to have another chance to add a Group One victory to her CV before the year is out, but at this stage Wachman is unsure where that will be. "She ran another good race and she's obviously a pretty good filly," said Wachman. "She's done nothing wrong all year really and we'll have a chat with the owners and see which way they want to go, but she has plenty of options. "She's in the Cheveley Park and the race in France (Prix Marcel Boussac), but nothing is set in stone and we'll just see how things go."
