Walsh unplaced on comeback ride Ruby Walsh finished down the field aboard Don't Turn Bach on his comeback ride at Newbury. The Paul Nicholls trained seven year old gelding was sent off a well backed favourite for the Elle Security Novices' Handicap Hurdle at Newbury but failed to land a blow. Walsh held the gelding up in rear before creeping through the field and the pair looked to hold every chance in a closely bunched field when jumping the first flight in the home straight. However, Walsh was soon working sitting lower in the saddle and was readily left behind as Don't Turn Bach failed to respond. Walsh wasn't hard in his mount once his chance had gone and the pair trailed home along way adrift of race winner The Chazer.
