Despite the best part of two inches of rain on Christmas Day, watering has resumed this morning on the chase course at Leopardstown after a dry night saw the ground starting to dry out again.

It's currently good to yielding on the chase track and yielding to soft on the hurdles/bumper track.

Occasional showers are possible and the watering situation will be reviewed this evening after racing.

Racing gets under way at 12.05pm.

It's still heavy ground at Limerick after 1.5mm of rain overnight. It's set to be mainly dry there with some occasional light showers and the first of seven races goes to post at 12.20pm.
