Weight Playing On Fitz´s Mind

Mick Fitzgerald partners favourite Trabolgan in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup tomorrow and he is concerned at the prospect of shouldering a big weight.

'I would feel a lot better if he had a lot less weight,' Fitzgerald, who is stable jockey to Trabolgan´s trainer Nicky Henderson, told At The Races.

'The weight is going to be the biggest worry with the way they look like going up. He´s a very good horse, he´s rated 151 and the reason he would be top weight is because no horse is rated higher than him in the race.

'It´s a tough task. He´s not that experienced over fences, he´s got a lot to find on the ratings but I think he´s got a good chance.'
