Dermot Weld has a late summer, early autumn return in mind for Tarima, after she disappointed in the Salsabil Stakes at Navan on her most recent start.

A half-sister to Group 1 winners Tarnawa and Tahiyra, the three-year-old won on debut at Leopardstown in March and while sent off favourite for the aforementioned Proudstown Park contest, she finished last of eight.

"We gave her time off and she's just come back. We look forward to her for late summer and early autumn," Weld revealed.

"She's a filly that is still very immature and very weak but she's going to be a lovely filly.

"We might come back a bit in trip. It was a mile-and-a-quarter in Navan, and I'd say we'll come back to a mile with her."
