Davy Russell notched his 100th winner of the season and kept the pressure on in the jockeys' title race when Not For You won the second division of the Ingard Point Maiden Hurdle at Wexford.

The champion led all the way on Charles Byrnes' 8-13 favourite and drove him out to score by four and a quarter lengths from All Day Long as he stretched his lead over Ruby Walsh to nine.

With the upcoming Punchestown Festival signalling the end of the season, Russell could be forgiven for thinking he has the winning post firmly in his sights.

Jane Mangan has had her ups and downs this year but she remains a fine prospect and rode out her 7lb claim when landing the feature Black Point Handicap Hurdle on the Gordon Elliott-trained Barneys Honour

She hauled in Six Stone Ned at the final flight and when her rival fell, she was left clear to beat Paco Jack by four lengths on the 5-2 favourite.

Michael Doran set out to make all on the Paul Nolan-trained Dick Dundee in the Black Point Beginners Chase and the 12-1 shot stayed on strongly to keep Dominetta Vitali at bay by two and a half lengths.

Bill Harney's mare Lady Boulea hadn't pulled up any trees in her previous five outings over jumps, but she was sent off a 5-1 chance for the first division of the maiden hurdle and she too led all the way under Mark Enright to score by a length and a half.

The Colm Murphy-trained Fitzgutentyte (8-1) jumped the last in fourth spot but reeled in the others on the run-in to win the Cahore Point Handicap Hurdle going away by three-quarters of a length under Robbie Power.

There was a desperately tight finish to the Broomhill Point Handicap Chase and it went to Phillip Enright on John Joe Walsh's Hillman (5-1), who held well-backed favourite Mr BB by a nose after the pair had the race to themselves over the last three fences.
