White Birch has Prince Of Wales's target The Prince Of Wales's Stakes is next on the agenda for John Murphy's stable star White Birch. A brilliant winner of the Tattersalls Gold Cup in 2024, he had no luck in running in this year's renewal and ultimately finished a never nearer fourth to Los Angeles. A first trip to Royal Ascot is now on the cards for the admirable grey, with Los Angeles also likely to reappear in this Group 1 heat. "He seems in very good form and came out of the last race very well. We're very happy with him," assistant trainer George Murphy revealed. "The plan is to go to Ascot for the Prince Of Wales's Stakes. "I don't think the ground makes that much difference to him. It was good ground the last day and he ran a lovely race."
