Gordon Elliott feels the step-up to three miles will suit Wodhooh in the Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree on Saturday.

Winning 10 times from 11 starts over timber, the brilliant six-year-old registered her first Grade 1 triumph when justifying odds-on favouritism in the Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham last month.

Now bidding to follow up on Merseyside, she could face no less than four fellow Cheltenham festival victors, with Home By The Lee, Supremely West, Air Of Entitlement and Jingko Blue among 15 still engaged.

Speaking at Fairyhouse on Monday, Elliott, who also has Honesty Policy in the mix, said: "I think it'll suit her (the step-up in trip).

"She has form around Aintree and we're looking forward to it."
