Sir Michael Stoute's stable star has enjoyed a hugely successful season already having supplemented his Epsom Derby success with victory in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and he could now head to Churchill Downs on November 6. The son of King's Best headed for Racecourse Side for a gallop on grass over nine furlongs, joined by stable companions Ithinkbest and Confront. Settled at the rear of the trio early on by Ryan Moore, the three-year-old quickened up most impressively to power clear. Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Prince Khalid Abdullah, will now consult with the owner and trainer before making a final decision on whether he will be given the green light for a trans-Atlantic mission. "The horse worked fine but there is nothing else to say at the moment," said Grimthorpe. "As soon as there is something more to say, I will let everyone know."
