Young conditional jockey Sean Cleary-Farrell rode his fourth winner from his last six rides, as the Willie Mullins trained Yoradreamer justified favouritism in the Randox Maiden Hurdle at Downpatrick.

At a time when some of the more senior riders are on a break, Cleary-Farrell has certainly made the most of the opportunities that have presented themselves in recent weeks.

Tracking the pace throughout on the 11/8 market leader, Cleary-Farrell came through to head stablemate Dysart Dasher after two out.

Asserting on the run to the last, Yoradreamer kept on strongly up the stiff hill to beat the runner-up Penny Express by eight-and-a-half lengths.

Assistant trainer Patrick Mullins said: "He's been very consistent. The owner, Mr Brookhouse, has been very patient.

"Sean Cleary-Farrell is obviously on a roll as well, so he did everything right.

"We always love having winners up here."

On the 15 winners races, he added: "I think they are a great idea - it gives guys like Sean, Kieran Callaghan and Conor Owens, young jockeys, a chance.

"Fantastic idea and a great initiative.

"We are delighted to get Sean another winner."
