The complexion of the Listed handicap hurdle on Fairyhouse's card changed at the last flight when Ataboycharlie departed and Zillow took full advantage.

The 7/2 joint favourite had followed the leader Ataboycharlie through, but was still a length in arrears at that obstacle.

When the leader fell, he badly hampered third-running Slurricane so Zillow and Paul Townend were able to scamper home by four and a-quarter lengths from a staying-on Bowensonfire (7/2jf) as Slurricane (9/1) dropped to third.

On the run the winning owners (H O S Syndicate) are having, Willie Mullins said: “From Del Mar (Ethical Diamond) down to Melbourne and back up to Fairyhouse, it’s fantastic.

“A lot of the grandchildren are here today and it’s a tremendous win. It’s what racing is about, the social side of racing and all the family are here.”
