Nolan/Cawley win opener at Tipperary

Wexford trainer Paul Nolan won the first race here this evening, The Tipperary Festival 18th & 19th July Hurdle with 5/2 shot Cuan Na Grai under Alain 'Squeaky' Cawley.

Leopardstown ground now good to yielding following heavy overnite rain. forecast rain clearing later today, risk of showrs tomorrow. The ground at Fairyhouse is now soft, soft to heavy in places (21.3mm rain overnite). Tipperary will go ahead Thurs, 18th June following track inspection. Ground remains soft.
