FormscanBy Tom Weekes - HERO OF THE HOUR is unbeaten in two runs wearing blinkers and has obvious claims from 3lb higher than when winning last month. Both his wins have been over course and distance and he is dependable. Surviving Murmansk has ruined his handicap mark this year, going from 41 to 67 without winning, but cannot be dismissed. He has tried a variety of things but his third-placing over course and distance in mid-February reads very well and while he faded late-on in a recent maiden, should be better suited by reverting to this distance. Prince Of Abington is ideally suited by this distance but has been raised 11lb following a recent runner-up run (Tawaazon was sixth) in a claimer. Collective Power is consistent but not ahead of the handicapper while Havana Notion hasn't been beaten far in two recent handicaps, when well backed, but needs to improve, reverting to six-furlongs.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards rated 47-70Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
