FormscanBy Mark Nunan - THE EYE OF TULLA has placed form over much longer trips including around here but his sole win came over an extended 2m1f at Limerick in May. He won readily on that occasion and meets the runner-up Berliet Express on only 2lb worse terms so can confirm the placings. Berliet Express is a strong traveller but finds little off the bridle and a first win over fences has continued to elude him despite a string of creditable efforts this year. He was caught up the hill at Downpatrick last month and the easier finish at this venue will suit although connections will be hoping the ground doesn't deteriorate too much. Early Arrival won over hurdles in the spring and wasn't beaten far when sixth in a 2m4f handicap chase at Wexford a fortnight ago. This trip looks on the sharp side but he should be thereabouts in this company.
