FormscanBy John O'Riordan - With the form of his Tipperary second appearing solid, ROCK OF IRELAND can register a first career success. The Alan McIntyre-trained four-year-old shaped with plenty of promise on his previous start when fourth at Cork on his handicap debut. A lightly-raced gelding with more scope for improvement than the majority of these, he will lack for nothing in the saddle with Georgie Benson taking the ride. Royal runner Reaching High is a significant contender for Willie Mullins. Formerly in the care of the now-retired Sir Michael Stoute, the gelding was a winner at Wolverhampton last summer. Burren Song, a previous winner of this race, is another to consider.
