The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference a furlong and a half from the finish involving Reaching High, ridden by Miss J. Townend, placed second and Not Just Any Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, placed first, where it appeared Not just Any Eagle drifted slightly right. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
Ms J. Townend stated that she suffered interference and had to re organise her mount for a couple of strides. R
Donaghue-Leahy stated that she rolled out slighty and felt she was clear of the other horse. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.
Alexandra Egan, rider of O'Reilly (FR), trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung slightly right
R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Not Just Any Eagle, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that she used the whip in the fore hand position for corrective purposes
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gabriella Hill, rider of Walhaan, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Gabriella Hill was in breach of R10.3 (g) (frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (second offence) they suspended her for four racedays

An extended handicap for four years old and upwards (90 = 10st 10lbs) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won. Riders - Lady Riders only - 1. who hold a Licence or Apprentice Licence under Rules of Racing. 2. who hold a Licence or Apprentice Licence under Rules of Racing issued by any Recognised Turf Authority. 3. who are Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. 4. who hold a Permit to ride in Flat Races issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. Allowances - (which are not cumulative, up to and including 12th May) Riders who have not ridden the winners of 30 *races allowed..........7lb; Those who have not ridden the winners of 60 *races allowed..........5lb; Those who have not ridden the winners of 90 *races allowed..........3lb. No allowance to riders under Rule 69 may be claimed. *Including races under any National Hunt Rules or Rules of Racing. Top weight after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st 10lbs and the minimum weight is 8st 10lbs.
