FormscanBy Alan Magee - GABBY HAYES (10) progressed steadily in three maiden starts and may have been unsuited by testing ground when placed on handicap debut over this trip at the Curragh. The Noel Meade-trained gelding had Closefield Beau over two lengths behind in fourth with another trio of these rivals further adrift. This That stayed a mile well when just getting the better of Leadlight (won since) in a Navan maiden and has only been raised 2lb, while Lake Lugano and Yellow Sky both hail from leading yards and any market support would be significant on handicap debut.

An extended handicap for two years old only (80 = 9st 12lbs)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
