FormscanBy Gary Carson - CASHELDALE LAD ran a cracker in the Galway Hurdle and can land a big pot now. The Raven’s Pass gelding was still relatively unexposed going to Ballybrit, where he made his fifth start over timber in the ultra competitive handicap. He got a bit outpaced turning for home then but plugged on well behind the front two. That big field experience will stand to him and he’s only 2lb higher. Josh Williamson claims a valuable 7lb again. Lord Erskine was one of those not helped by the start in the Galway Hurdle but was a good winner back at Ballybrit earlier this month. He’s a danger. Spy was a convincing winner at Killarney last time and is another to consider.
