FormscanBy Tom Weekes - MIDNIGHT TOKER was behind As It Was and Thunderbear at Navan last month but might turn form. Beaten two lengths by winner As It Was, the selection is now 8lb better off and comes here a fresher horse, with As It Was being beaten in a valuable sales race subsequently. Thunderbear was a one-length second in the Navan race and while 9lb better off with As It Was, disappointed at Dundalk on Friday. Reinforce was reported to be 'feeling the ground' on a quick surface when disappointing on nursery debut at the Curragh last month but had nonetheless shown form on fast ground this summer and is on a retrieval mission. Pretty Persuasion was well behind As It Was at Navan in July and was well held in a nursery on Thursday.
