A wide-margin winner of a heavy-ground maiden over this distance last September, the selection had been rated 84 last April and having run well, has now slipped to 79 and is suited by conditions. Three-time course winner Dragon Of Malta might not get his preferred heavy ground, but has been running well and has slipped to the same rating as when successful here (on the second occasion) last September. Three-year-old Resurgence ran well in a recent Navan maiden and is interesting on handicap debut while U S Spearhead defeated an unlucky runner-up to score at Tramore in August.
