FormscanBy Tom Weekes - KARL DES TOURELLES hasn’t won since scoring on his debut in February 2024 but is an able performer who has the benefit of a good recent chase run. Ideally suited by testing going, the selection has run well in some smart handicaps at big festivals and a reproduction of his latest course-and-distance effort would give him solid claims, as most of his rivals lack both experience and race-fitness. Lightly-raced maiden Begorra Man has bumped into smart types and while he should do well in this sphere, should benefit from today’s chase debut. Coral River had form last season but has top-weight while County Final and King’s Bucks debut over fences on their respective seasonal reappearances.
