FormscanBy Mark Nunan - EASY GAME can justify likely cramped odds with trip and ground to suit. Willie Mullins’ prolific winner is on a hat-trick after beating stable companions in Graded events at Fairyhouse and Killarney. These kind of races are ideal for him and he’s well clear on ratings. Espion Du Chenet has been a credit to connections and six wins over the past eighteen months or so have seen his rating increase by over three stone. He won a decent 2m handicap at Punchestown last time and has a good chance of finishing second even though this trip will stretch his stamina. Born By the Sea ran well when third to Darasso in last year’s renewal and was fifth in the Kerry National at the big meeting here in September. He was unable to get competitive in a Cheltenham handicap in March but is another who can contend for minor honours.
