Henry De Bromhead's charge hit the front in the closing stages on her second run in a Clonmel bumper, but she was unable to hold on. However, a replication of that form after a 165-day layoff should be good enough here for a mare with a future. Discussion has been off the track for over two years and was highly tried in her younger days after finishing runner-up on debut. This is a fair step down in grade for the daughter of Dawn Approach, and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of her on this return. Maxdale Prinxess was green on debut, but the booking of Derek O'Connor is eye-catching, and she has an each-way chance.
