FormscanBy Michael Graham - GAELIC DES CHASTYS (3) appeals off a mark of 89 with Patrick O'Brien's 5lb claim factored in. He has been competing off higher marks over fences and finished runner-up at Listowel in September. One of his two career victories came in a handicap hurdle at this track. There are plenty of contenders in this big-field, though. Le Fanu didn't appear to stay over further in Limerick, but has definite claims on his Listowel victory on penultimate start. The Ducks Walk is adept on good ground and was also successful on his penultimate outing in Gowran Park. Spanish John has shaped like there is another win in him, while Tudorista, Head For Home and How Decc are others in the mix.
