FormscanBy Mark Nunan - NORTH OF NASHVILLE has run well on two occasions in maiden hurdles and may get her turn. Colin Bowe’s point-to-point winner went close at Cork in the autumn and, after a couple of moderate efforts, again emerged with credit when third to a subsequent winner at Limerick. Mary Meehan, second to a useful type in a bumper at this venue, may do best of Willie Mullins’ two runners although Clonmel bumper winner Dani California also merits respects. Both mares have been off since October. Point-to-point winner Still Ciel was a disappointing favourite at Killarney but will be fitter for the run and this shorter trip may be more suitable. Happy D’ex won a bumper at Fairyhouse in November and ran respectably a couple of times over hurdles afterwards. She will enjoy getting back onto better ground.
