FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Point-to-point winner PADDYS PLANET won twice over hurdles on a soft surface last term but seemed to handle better ground adequately when fifth in his first chase at Punchestown. That was a classier contest than this and Ross O’Sullivan’s charge can show the benefit of that experience. Sovereign Gold, who won a maiden hurdle over this trip at Tipperary last year, has had nine starts over fences and has several strong pieces of form to her name. She was third to subsequent Irish National winner Lord Lariat at Punchestown in December and filled the same spot behind other useful winners on her next two starts. Tullyveery Lad has the size for fences and ran well to be fourth at Limerick while Quantum Realm was second in handicap company at Kilbeggan on his penultimate start but has since run poorly at the same venue.
