FormscanBy Shane Redmond - The seven-year-old AUDIENCE (1) is a regular visitor to these shores and should be up to reaching the frame at least. He went close over seven furlongs on soft ground when a narrow runner-up in the Group 3 Ballycorus Stakes here in June and again went well from the front when third to today's rival Isaac Newton on a far quicker surface in the Group 3 Desmond Stakes over this course and distance a little over a month ago. Isaac Newton is prone to losing ground from the stalls and his wide draw is far from ideal but he still sets the standard just ahead of his fellow three-year-old Power Blue who wasn't that far off Gstaad in the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas and Bow Echo in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Quddwah is comfortably the highest-rated contender but he hasn't run since finishing a length and three-parts second to Ombudsman in the Group 1 Dubai Turf over nine furlongs at Meydan in March.
