Formscan - MAJOR OAK (7) is the tentative selection in an open Quinte+ handicap. He was a creditable fifth on his latest start at Deauville late in August. SCHUMAN (12) can keep the selection honest and arrives after a decent fourth in the same race and another good run is expected. HEROISTE (13) is lightly raced and was a decent third in a Class 2 handicap on her latest start in mid-August at Deauville. PROFUMO DI IENA (2) has contested two good races since a pleasing fourth at Dieppe in late June in a Class 2 handicap and warrants respect, as does FOU FURIEUX (10), who makes up the shortlist.
