FormscanBy Michael Graham - MAGNA GEE GEE (5) was tough in winning over an extended 1m4f in Limerick and could follow up. He races off just 1lb higher and has winning form over an extended 9f at Wolverhampton in the book. Yquem was a lowly rated 39 when she won in taking fashion at Leopardstown. The handicapper shoved her up to a mark of 50 and she showed that the revised rating wasn't beyond her when she finished a close third in a big field at Leopardstown. Duchess Anne could build upon a decent fourth in an apprentice handicap over 1m at Naas during the week, while Master Garvey isn't out of it in first-time blinkers with a 7lb claimer up.
