FormscanBy Alan Magee - JOHN CANNON appears to have found a good opportunity to open his hurdling account. The Joe Murphy-trained gelding beat En Beton in a Thurles bumper and has run well on all three maiden hurdle starts including when beating all bar Banbridge in a 25-runner Punchestown event last May. The selection was having his first run since when again filling the runner-up spot behind Pinkerton at Thurles last month. It will be interesting to see if the market speaks in favour of Vinnie Is Busy who reappears after a near two years absence. He scored in good style on debut in a Limerick bumper and was third on his only hurdle outing in a Downpatrick maiden behind Barnaviddaun, who went on to win the Grade B Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle at Naas. Peaceful Sunday has shown some promise in four previous outings.
