He landed a maiden hurdle success in fine style at Limerick at the end of March and followed up at a far higher level when taking a novice event at the Punchestown Festival a month later. While the ground will be a little quicker now, and he has a 10lb penalty to carry, Willie Mullins' charge can continue his winning run at the main expense of his former stable companion Mino Des Mottes who starts out for Gordon Elliott here. He was a beaten odds-on favourite at Cork in early April but might yet pose more of a threat than the Wexford maiden hurdle scorer Karlynn who drops back in distance for this.
