He was no match in second place for strong favourite The Store Boy on his first try over hurdles but it was a fair effort from the six-year-old who was a bumper winner at Thurles in October of last year. Highland Realm was a long odds-on favourite when a narrow runner-up in a bumper at Tramore last August and he is likely to go well again as is the more experienced Wackestone who goes back over hurdles after taking third place in a charity race at the Curragh on Derby weekend.
