The selection handles soft ground well and will relish this stamina test. Paddy’s Milestone won over 3m at Down Royal last year and was absent until beating Grimaud by two lengths over 2m5f here last month with Gringo D’aubrelle back in fifth. However, he’s now 10lb out of the handicap proper and stablemate Ayiko may prove more of a threat on his third to Custom Taylor in a valuable 2m7f Fairyhouse handicap last spring. Yeats Star is another to consider.
