FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Another very competitive affair. HALF NUTZ won this race twelve months ago when trained by Sheila Lavery and he is a bit of a course specialist, with three wins at the venue to his name. He finished fourth on his last two visits to the Co Kildare circuit and is tried in cheekpieces for the first time now. Radiyka won her maiden over the course and distance last month and is the sole three-year-old in the line-up. She looks well-treated on a mark of 84, and it'll be disappointing if she is not involved towards the business end. The lightly raced Karlsberg went down by just half-a-length on her seasonal debut at the Curragh and the Shane Crawley trained filly is another sure to have plenty of supporters. Nordic Passage and Mickey The Steel both filled the runner-up spot on their penultimate starts and while they disappointed since, they are capable of much better. Dandyville, who won three times last year, is an interesting contender on debut for Jack Davison, while Earls (first start for Gavin Cromwell), She's In The Game and Pretty Boy Floyd are others for the shortlist.
