He made much of the running when a good winner over this distance on quick ground at Pontefract in the middle of last month and lost little in defeat when second over a longer trip, and on much softer ground, at Goodwood since. He is nicely drawn to make the running again here and connections now try blinkers as a replacement for the cheekpieces he wore on his last two starts. There are any number of dangers and among them must be Lord Massusus who is officially 1lb well in under his mandatory 7lb penalty for winning at Galway on Tuesday. Fixation is another recent winner with plenty going for him, while at the other end of the handicap, chances can be given to the three-year-olds Alphonsus Liguori, God Of Power and Johnny Soda, the latter running from 3lb out of the handicap proper.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that are EBF eligible and that have run at least three times under any Rules of Racing up to and including 31st August, 2026, at least one of those runs having been on or after 1st August, 2025 (105 = 10st)
