FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Four-time winner MEEHALL ran satisfactorily over fences at Listowel last month and has sound claims reverting to hurdles in this open looking handicap. While he is rated lower over fences and was pulled up in his most recent handicap hurdle outing last January, he nonetheless scored in this sphere last October. He stays well and seems ground-versatile. Zolpharine has won just once from 33 runs but ran well from his higher chase-rating at Killarney recently, and should get involved from a low weight. Ex-pointer and handicap-debutante Kir showed promise over a similar distance at Tipperary last May but has top weight on reappearance.
