FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - GINTO’S Fairyhouse conqueror Whatdeawant went on to finish third in Grade Two company at the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown. The doubters like nothing better than a huge purchase price as stick to beat any horse, but 470K buy Ginto is worth another chance after his 4/9 failure at the start of the year. Gordon Elliott’s Walk In The Park gelding had looked like one we’d be hearing a lot more about, given the style of his Tattersalls point-to-point win in October. Hopefully a better gallop now, and the stiff track at Navan should enable Ginto to show his true colours. Shane Donohoe and Stuart Crawford are both two-handed, and the newcomers look interesting on paper, maybe none more so than Derek O’Connor’s mount, Shantreusse, for Sam Curling.
