FormscanBy Gary Carson - CATHRYNS RUBY (6) won on this card last year and may be able to strike again here on her seasonal debut. The Mahler mare was consistent last term and ran well to finish placed in a couple of competitive events at Fairyhouse in the spring. She looks capable of scoring again off this mark. River Vale was a winner over fences when last seen at Cork in April and his hurdles mark is now half-a-stone lower, so he commands respect. Jumbos Jet also visited the winners’ enclosure on her last outing, at Clonmel in May, and is another to consider on her handicap debut.

An extended handicap hurdle for three years old and upwards (110 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Professional & Claiming Professional Riders who have not ridden more than 15 winners under any N.H. Rules in the 2025/2026 season inclusive. (Qualified Riders are excluded from riding in this race).
