Six of the selection’s seven career wins have come at Galway and while now a nine-year-old who hasn’t scored over hurdles since winning this race for the second time in 2023, he has only recently slipped back into this 0-120 bracket, and ran well in Monday’s Connaught Hotel Handicap. Timurshah is chasing a four-timer but has been penalised 13lb for Monday’s success. Cool Boy Christy has hinted at being well handicapped on occasions and runs in first-time blinkers while Dream Shaper showed improved form to win at Kilbeggan but steps up in grade from 3lb out of the handicap.
