FormscanBy Dan McEvoy - UNIQUE JOURNEY (1) can take this race for the second consecutive year off 5lb higher. The Caravaggio four-year-old won readily on that occasion, and with Terry Casey's claim taken into account, he would seem similarly well off. He has been coming steadily back into form and now drops back to his preferred six furlongs. Dmaniac is another who thrives in these softer conditions and drops down in both trip and grade here under Paddy Harnet. Three-year-olds Chicago Pope and Unauthorized both need to bounce back to form, but they are capable of playing their part. Finally, recent course and distance winner Nouvel Espoir can continue his run of form, although he still has a bit to find with the principals.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (100 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
