FormscanBy Tom Weekes - QUEEN AETHELFLAED is officially 1lb ‘wrong’ at today’s weights but gets one last attempt in this 0-60 grade, having scored just last Friday. An able handicapper, the selection made all when scoring at Gowran and while raised only 6lb for that success and now carries a 7lb penalty, today’s race looks winnable and she is suited by conditions. Real Petite had defeated Queen Aethelflaed to win in early-June and while beaten four lengths by the selection in last week’s Gowran race, should again compete. Five-time winner Nibras Rainbow has also been running well and finished a close third over course-and-distance last week.
