Formscan - MARIACHI (6) is a previous winner over hurdles at this track and was a decent third on his latest start in a Class 2 chase early last month over 3600m. Stepping up in trip today could bring out more progress and he is preferred ahead of MACALO DE GREZ (1), who ran a respectable race when second at this track on October 1 in a Class 2 chase. MULOUGHBOY (2) was placed in Listed hurdles at this venue and has shown promise in his two starts over fences. He can be involved, as can MISTRAL MORIVIERE (5), who makes up the shortlist.
