FormscanBy Tom Weekes - LEADLIGHT holds hopeful Group-entries and seems out of place in a race of this nature, with only the bottom three horses being eligible for a claim. The selection’s debut run at Leopardstown was a fine effort, where he carried top weight and finished ahead of subsequent winner Tosca Bo Candis, who is now rated 92. His Goodwood effort was also solid and should take all the beating here. Jezzie Bea has run well twice, with the form of each of those races having worked out nicely. She was reported to have ‘scoped wrong post race’ following Leopardstown and has been freshened up. Equus Victor returned following a layoff and gelding operation when running well in a useful Dundalk maiden recently.
