FormscanBy Mark Nunan - GABBY HAYES ran a good race on heavy ground when third at the Curragh and possibly didn't enjoy the Polytrack surface at Dundalk last time. Noel Meade's gelding can be forgiven that effort and gets another chance back on easy ground. Wecouldhavehaditall was a front-running third over 1m in a Naas nursery before a respectable effort in maiden company at Killarney, and dropping back in trip may help. He's another good ride on the card for Paddy Harnett. Melchizedek showed a lot more on his third maiden start when fifth at Thurles and might step forward again. Margot Mae has come down 8lb after three nursery runs and takes a drop in grade here.

An extended handicap for two years old only (70 = 9st 12lbs)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
