Recent schooling sessions seem to have left his camp very confident he is ready to face a test of this nature, but it wouldn't be a surprise if stable companion KARGESE came out on top. Runner-up in the 2024 Triumph to Majborough, the mare was a comfortable winner of the County Hurdle 12 months ago and all of her best form has come in the spring. She did remarkably well to battle back after a mistake at the last against Romeo Coolio in the Irish Arkle, going down by a neck, and that experience may give her a vital edge.
